We believe you'll find King of Kings to be a warm, caring congregation of God's people committed to Biblical, Christ-centered worship and ministry. We hope you'll join with us as we seek to know Christ and to make Him known.
We are an active, serving congregation of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the authority of Scripture. We teach that our salvation comes from the grace of God alone, faith in Jesus alone, according to scripture alone.
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at King of Kings Lutheran Church a great one!
King of Kings meets every weekend on Sunday at 18207 108th Ave. SE in Renton.
8:30 am Liturgy of Praise
At this service you will experience a wonderful blend of hymns and classical style of music with beautiful poetic spoken portions and readings. Holy Communion is celebrated the second, fourth, and fifth Sundays of each month.
9:45 am Sunday School for all ages
11:00 am Praise Alive!
This service features our worship band, Royal Praise. Guitars, keyboards and drums set the tone for our uplifting praise to our God. This service brings a modern sound with a timeless message for our community. Holy Communion is celebrated the first, third, and fifth Sundays of each month.
We also offer a worship service in the Nuer language every other Sunday at 1:00 pm. This service is led by Rev. Matthew Both.
In total, a King of Kings church service is about 60 minutes in length.
As the services start we have greeters at the entrance to the sanctuary and ushers to give you a bulletin and to help you find a seat.
We celebrate Holy Communion on alternating Sundays, and we welcome all baptized Christians who believe that Jesus Christ is present in this sacrament an that forgiveness of sins is given in it. The ushers will direct you, and your children are welcome to accompany you to receive a blessing.
Sunday’s at King of Kings are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
We have child care during all services with a staffed nursery room for infants and toddlers.
At our 11:00 service children are invited to a special children’s church prior to the adult sermon. If you prefer, you may certainly have your children remain with you in the sanctuary.
